Laura Lucero arrived at the business of mortgages through many years of salesmanship. After earning a Master’s Degree in Architecture, she owned and operated a small architectural design company. There she met with clients to understand and fulfill their ideas for living. Throughout her life, Laura has held sales positions in varying industries including automobiles and fabric. Laura is a Federal and State Registered Mortgage Loan Originator for Indigo Mortgage. Along with her brothers, Ben and Jerry, she grew up in a household with a salesman father. Danny Lucero, Sr. taught Laura through the process of osmosis. She learned the value of understanding people's needs and desires, and how to help them achieve their goals through the sales process. Laura is inspired by each client’s needs and performs at her utmost to produce loans that offer her clients the best mortgage for their situation.

Jerome (Jerry) is thankful for the opportunities he’s have been afforded in all areas of his life. His marriage to Julie has been the “crescendo” of his relationships and he is blessed to have two adult stepchildren and the opportunity to help lead them. Jerry earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from New Mexico State University in 1982. For 25 years after graduating from college, his career had been in retail sales and management. This experience has proved valuable in his transition to the mortgage industry in September of 2007. The skills that he’s learned have been useful in serving the customers of Indigo Mortgage. Jerry is licensed to originate mortgages by the National Mortgage Licensing System, which is a federal requirement, and by the State of New Mexico mortgage licensing department. Jerry and Julie moved to Albuquerque from Las Cruces in May of 2010, and are happy to be a part of this great city.
Senior Loan Processor
Stephanee Casares is a Certified Senior Mortgage Loan Processor at Indigo Mortgage. She has been part of the Indigo Mortgage team since June 2007 and has worked in the mortgage industry since 2000. She has consistently learned and ultimately brought all her mortgage experience to her processing position. Stephanee has been a loan officer, a marketing director, an executive administrator, and a manager. However, she has found her passion in loan processing.
Kim Lee Molina
Senior Loan Officer, NMLS #194846
Kim Lee Molina started on the mortgage industry in 2002. She quickly learned the industry and opened up her mortgage broker shop in 2005. In 2006 she expanded into also becoming a licensed realtor and financial planner and added a Real Estate company and Financial Services company as well. She now joins forces with Ben Lucero and Indigo Mortgage as a Federal and State Registered Senior Loan Officer. Her reason for choosing to become a part of the Indigo Mortgage team is she feels totally aligned with Indigo Mortgage’s ethics and business practices. We truly care and will communicate with the client(s) through the mortgage process. Kim is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist. She loves to travel, exercise, and read.
Julie has been with Indigo since February of 2012. She enjoys getting to work with her husband, Jerry Lucero. She is a native New Mexican and studied Business and Finance at New Mexico State University. She spent 25 years in the healthcare field, but decided to put her skills for helping people to good use at Indigo. Julie enjoys the challenges that come with being a Compliance Officer
Receptionist & Broker Assistant
Sherry has been working at Indigo since October of 2012. While she wasn't born in New Mexico, she has lived here since she was 10 and considers herself a native. Sherry is a former business owner and has three children and five grandchildren. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new people and being able to help them with their needs.
Arlene Cervantes was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has previous experience as a paralegal and is a notary public. She has been working in the loan processing business for 10 years. Arlene used to live in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is friendly and outgoing and also bilingual. She loves that she works with fun and outgoing people at Indigo Mortgage and that there is never a dull moment. She is committed to serving her clients and always goes the extra mile to close a loan.
Beth started as a receptionist in the mortgage industry and was trained to be a loan processor. She was raised in Pojoaque, New Mexico and now lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She enjoys working at Indigo Mortgage because of the faith based, family oriented, team based environment. She loves that the focus is on the customers. In her spare time, Beth loves spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
Jennifer has always loved finance. She was born and raised in California but came to New Mexico on an adventure. She enjoys living in Albuquerque and says that some of the landscapes in New Mexico remind her of California. Jennifer has over 6 years of experience as a Loan Processor and an extensive management background. We’re happy to have her on the Indigo Mortgage team!
Garett studied finance at Anderson School of Management. He graduated with his MBA and started his own business. Shortly after, he began his finance career at a local credit union as a commercial loan officer. His financial experience and customer service skills are an asset to Indigo Mortgage. Garett says he was drawn to Indigo Mortgage because he thinks trust and integrity are essential to working with customers in this industry. In his spare time Garett coaches the swim team at Sandia High School, does CrossFit, and roots for his favorite sports teams (The Packers and the Red Sox).
Robert Rispoli comes to Indigo Mortgage with 50 years of mortgage lending experience. Robert has worked in every aspect of the business, for large corporations, on wall street, as well as for small mortgage brokers. As a Closing Specialist at Indigo Mortgage, Robert is responsible for overseeing the customer experience throughout the loan process. He answers any questions and provides ongoing customer support, even after the loan has been closed. Robert is a disabled veteran and recipient of a Purple Heart Award. As a veteran, Robert brings empathy and understanding to his role when helping with VA loans. Robert lived in Italy for three years, but came back to the U.S. to be closer to his grandchildren. With his experience and expertise, Robert could’ve chosen to work anywhere, but he chose Indigo Mortgage because “it’s a special place with a strong ethical and moral compass.” Robert enjoys Italian red wine and cooking authentic Italian foods using the herbs he grows in his garden. He also enjoys spending time with his wife of 48 years and says that just like a garden, relationships require nurturing.

Eleanor (Ellie) Maier was born and raised in Ireland, but she recently moved to New Mexico after living in Kalispell, Montana for ten years. She loves the people and the vibrant culture New Mexico has to offer and she feels very at home here. She joined Indigo Mortgage with years of experience as an entrepreneur and business owner. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, Ellie meets with clients who need financing and she listens to them to determine their needs and how Indigo Mortgage can best assist them. Her years of experience as a business owner have helped her communicate effectively with customers and build trust. Ellie loves working with people and showing them how much Indigo Mortgage cares about them and their mortgage. A mortgage is the biggest investment a person will ever make, and so Ellie knows how important it is to make sure our customers are comfortable, and feel protected, not pressured. In her spare time Ellie enjoys yoga, meditation, swimming and listening to music. She’s also a travel addict - the coolest place she’s ever visited was Bali, Indonesia.
Deuteronomy, a.k.a. Tube Dude, has been with Indigo Mortgage since March of 2013. Rain or shine, he enjoys standing outside and greeting the people who come in to Indigo Mortgage. He always has a smile on his face and an extra hand to hold a sign. Tube Dude enjoys diving (it’s easy when you sink and don’t have to breathe) and he is fascinated by plumbing. Tube Dude is pretty sure that he's Ben's favorite.
